Stuffed peppers recipe - with feta cheese


Stuffed hot peppers in oil, taste magnificent. How to prepare it? Try this recipe.

Warning! Please use gloves while handling hot peppers!

Proportions for 8 peppers.

Stuffing:
2 cups feta cheese
1 large egg
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
dried oregano or marjoram (choose according to your preference)
2 tablespoons olive oil for coating

Cut one side of each pepper, on the cap side. For 3-5 minutes blanch the peppers in lightly salted boiling water. Drain them and wait, until peppers cool down. Remove the seeds under running water - pay attention to not keep the peppers intact. Mix the ingredients and stuff the peppers.
Fry each side of the peppers until the skin blackened. Leave to cool down, then peel off the skin. Ready to serve.
